Jazz at Pearl's in North Beach

"In the city, this club has the best listening ambiance of any. It's intimate and gorgeous with a great sound system. I don't envy the owners in maintaining a jazz club in these trying times but as a performer I'm grateful such a place exists for adventurous musicians. It always cracks me up, however, that some drunk will stand right behind the drummer in the window and totally start air drumming".
