This beaux arts building was built in 1915, Graham’s name was added in 1991 to honor the rock-concert impresario who promoted many of the San Francisco’s rock and roll events. The Grateful Dead held many a New Year’s Eve concert in the hall, and a fledgling Rock and Roll of Fame is slowly taking shape on the sidewalk in front of the building, with plaques commemorating John Lee Hooker, Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia and Janis Joplin
