Dennis T. Sullivan Memorial Fire Chief's Home

"San Francisco Fire Department Dedication of the The Dennis T. Sullivan Memorial Home on March 16, 1922, by Mayor ""Sunny"" Jim Rolph. It was built as a home for San Francisco fire chiefs. It was named for Chief Engineer Dennis T. Sullivan. The chief’s widow watches the ceremony from the automobile in front of the building.

Although it is no longer occupied by San Francisco Fire Chiefs - the home is occasionally used for high-ranking city employees who have relocated to the city and who are in need of traditional housing.
