The historical James Lick Bath House was donated by millionaire James Lick to the City of San Francisco. It was constructed in 1890 and its business operated until 1912. It was occupied by the People's Laundry from 1920 to 1959. In 1979, Pflueger Architects renovated the old bath house into an office building.
